A táj konfigurációja volt Bernát András 2017-es nagy paksi kiállításának tárgya, most – távolabbra nézve – az ég konfigurációját tárja a néző elé.
Ahogy korábban sem, e művek révén sem törekszik az asszociációra, nem igyekszik esélyt adni semmiféle történetnek, de nem is gátolja az értelmezést. Festményei lágy szerkezetükkel, a klasszikus tájképekére gyakran utaló kompozíciós elvek nyomaival (talán némi öniróniával is) fölidézik ugyan a tradicionális látványelvűséget, ám a festői Én teljes szétáradása a naturális – vagy annak tűnő – formákat tökéletesen föloldja, s az érzékelhető és az érzékelhetetlen határa hallatlanul érzéki megfogalmazást kap.

Andràs Bernàt's grand scale 2017 exhibition in Paks had the configuration of the landscape as its central theme. Now, the artist's focus has shifted to a more remote target - the configuration of the sky.
The same as earlier, he is not aiming at creating associations, nor is he making attempts at conjuring up stories – yet he does not prevent interpretations either. His soft-structured paintings often reveal traces of the principles of classic landscape painting composition, reflecting, perhaps somewhat self-ironically, on the traditional concept of "sight". However, as the artist's Self unfolds and entwines all the natural forms (are they really natural, while at that?), they dissolve completely, defining incredibly sensual borders between perceptible and imperceptible.
